I had cousin 4 years old killed by milk float went over him he was playing outside his door step and my uncle turned for second he was up on the wheel that driver didn't see him as he reversed that was a accident and he kept intouch with them years after my cousin death this guy didn't stop or do anything ran off poor excuse for a human being he should have been locked up alot longer sentences they give out are a joke poor child and family. 6 1/2 years! He knew he wasn't insured and he knew how badly he was driving surely thats getting into a vehicle with knowledge you can cause harm! Wheres the life sentence? Bloody joke of a system. I hope this goes to appeal and the supreme Court gives life! 6 1/2 years? I don’t understand why manslaughter can get a life sentence but if you do the same thing with a car it’s so much less. It’s the same crime, he didn’t mean to kill her but he did through his negligence and should have been charged with manslaughter. This was not accidental- he drove without insurance, recklessly and then ran away from the scene!
