With pupils across England set to return to school in less than a fortnight on March 8, Mr Gibb confirmed it will not be a case of “no test, no school.” He also confirmed face coverings and masks will not be compulsory in schools – though the government strongly advises their use.My childrens school want them to have three tests before 8th March within the school then twice a week at home thereafter. The school email says its voluntary but government says it's strongly recommended. At the cost of £40 bus fare for both children (they have to go home immediately after).
